Mid Term Review of the BAM Support in the Windward Islands (Dominica, St Lucia, St Vincent)

The overall objective of the project of which this contract will be a part is as follows: (i) To support the diversification process following liberalisation of the European market for bananas in the framework of the WTO; and (ii) Achieve a sustained growth in production and exports of the agricultural sector, thus providing increased income for producers and exporters and contributing to employment, poverty reduction, rural development and social environmental and economic stability. The purpose of the mid –term evaluation is to evaluate progress of the programme, to recommend, if needed, changes or adjustments, and to provide orientations and recommendations that would contribute to guide the allocation of the remaining funds.
